Poor experiance

I have several cars a year shipped and thought I would give United a try. Worst experience Ive had so far.
Signed a contract Dec 29th 2010 and was told car would be assigned and picked up within 7 days. It was finally picked up Jan 18, 2011,hhmm that's 3 weeks or 21 days. During that time NO response to several email inquiries,tried phone calls and got a different person with different reasons (excuses) each time. Finally got to a customer service supervisor,and manager,then 5 days latter car was picked up, not by United but a brokered driver. Took 3 days after that to get 568 miles. Driver then called at 2pm and said he was stopping 30 miles away for the nite as he was picking another car up next morning and would be here at 10 am. The next morning ,after a snow storm he called again to say the pick up car wasn't ready yet and he didn't want to drive the 30 miles and have to back track.so now the car has been on a trailer 4 days and is still 30 miles away. So finally the car got here much latter that day,arrived filthy,with a dead battery ,and was unloaded in a snow storm,which could have been avoided if he would have just drove that extra 30 miles.the day before. I understand there are always things that come up ,BUT this was just a mess from day one . I will not be using them ever again . Just some info for you before you decide on United as your carrier.

Order was booked on 12-29, however, was not activated until 1-3 after origin confirmed vehicle was paid for and ready for pick up...At time of booking customer was informed our average (estimated) time from was 1-7 business days to get order assigned to a carrier. 1-7 Customer Called for status on order 1-10 Customer Service contacted customer with update, still actively looking for a carrier 1-13 Customer Service contacted customer - again letting him know we were working on getting carrier assigned. 1-14 Carrier was assigned, customer was contacted with Estimated pick up and delivery dates... Carrier spent several days with origin trying to arrange a pick up with them, they agreed to 1-18 Vehicle was picked up and delivered on 1-20 - We regret to hear that the customer was unhappy with our service, we always stress the time frames are estimated.
