Being a "first time car shipper" I was a little hesitant/skeptical as to how to go about it, and what company to use. After going on-line for a quote, I received approximately 10, ranging in price from $750 to $1,050. I had been quickly educated by another company's quote and follow-up e-mail. I didn't want to make the mistake of making a decision on price alone, so I checked all of the company's ratings/reviews and decided to go with National Auto Shipping. We received a call from the truck driver on a Wednesday telling us he would pick the car up the next morning. We made arrangements to have the car picked up at a nearby truck stop, as the roads down here are narrow without any place to turn a truck around. Although I was under the assumption that National would be transporting my son's vehicle, it was picked up by Pioneer Auto Express within the date range specified and delivered 2 days earlier than I had requested. Going cross-country from the northeast this time of year we had anticipated the opposite, having to rent a car because the truck was late in delivery. The truck left Connecticut in a snowstorm and headed into another snowstorm coming across the Ohio River valley. We made arrangements to have a friend accept delivery of the car in the event that the car was delivered earlier than expected. The car was delivered in the same condition (excellent) that it left here in. All in all, it was a very good experience.
