There is one reason for this rating. We DID NOT contract with Dependable Auto Shippers. The company we contracted with, Door to Door Transport of Coconut Creek, Florida, hired DAS. However, what Door to Door did was give DAS our credit card information without authorization and DAS used it! This was dishonest of them. There are no authorizations signed by us and we have disputed the charge; which DAS is fighting.

We believe that DAS needs to get it's money from Door to Door Transport, since that's who their contract was with. Door to Door is COMPLETELY DISREPUTABLE and has made libelous statements against me for disputing the charge from DAS.

Our vehicle arrived fine (Virginia to Puerto Rico), but there was no contact until it showed up. But the main problem was the lack of integrity when it came to our personal information, from both Door to Door Transport and Dependable Auto Shippers. No company should use someone's credit card without authorization.

DAS may dispute this review – Lord knows Door to Door has been mad about my reviews (2 total) of them (one has been removed), but I am being honest. Note that I am not saying they did a bad job – I am complaining about the integrity.

DAS is not accredited by the BBB.
