You have conveniently slanted the facts to misrepresent our level of service.
To begin with, on 1/20/12 in the afternoon you asked us find you a transport company to transport your RUNNING 2007 Toyota Camry from Grand Prairie, TX to Culver City, CA. You asked us to find someone to pick up your vehicle as early as 1/23/12 (that was the earliest you told us vehicle could get picked up). We found you several options on 1/20/12 for pick up on 1/23/12. Then YOU told us vehicle was not in running condition, and would not be ready until 1/25/12 at the earliest. We found you more options for pick up for 1/25/12, BUT your vehicle was still not ready for transport, you told us it would be ready on 1/26/12. On 1/26/12, we found you a transport company to pick up on 1/26/12. Another customer that caused them to run behind schedule caused a delay on picking up your vehicle. Your vehicle was picked up on 1/27/12 with delivery estimated for 1/30/12. Carrier did experience delays that caused them to deliver to you on 2/2/12. According to the transport company, they experienced mechanical issues as well as bad weather conditions during the transport, which caused them delays. They even gave you a discount on delivery for their tardiness, which is not common in this industry.
Mr. Ashu Acharya, in the order confirmation that you agreed to, you read in our terms and conditions that "Due to factors beyond our control, we are unable to guarantee either pick-up or delivery dates or times. These dates are always estimated per the driver, however we do our best to meet your time specifications." Factors beyond our control, such as bad weather, mechanical issues, other customers causing delays, bad road conditions, etc., are all clearly out of our control.
While all these delays were going on, we were always available to Mr. Ashu Acharya during all those multiple daily calls asking for updates, we always tried to help you as best we could. We were very surprised when you informed us that if we did not give you money, you would write us many negative reviews. Mr. Ashu Acharya , you signed off on an order confirmation that clearly stated that we cannot, and will not, guarantee pick up and delivery dates. And now, by threatening to write negative reviews unless we refunded hundreds of dollars, in essence you are demanding that we guarantee pick up and delivery dates. WE WILL NOT BE BLACKMAILED. And Mr. Ashu Acharya's review on this site is proof of that.
We ship thousands of cars a year. If we operated the way Mr. Ashu Acharya claims we do, this web site would have hundreds of negative reviews. If we operated like Mr. Ashu Acharya claims we do, we would have a terrible Better Business Bureau rating. INSTEAD, WE HAVE HUNDREDS OF STELLAR REVIEWS ON THIS WEB SITE, AND A FANTASTIC RATING WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. Although delays are unfortunate, they are out of our control, and could have happened to Mr. Ashu Acharya with any other broker as well. And to try to blackmail us for hundreds of dollars because of delays that were out of our control, after we worked around the delays that he caused, we feel Mr. Ashu Acharya is out of line. WE WILL NOT BE BLACKMAILED. [ view ] |
