He has been very uncooperative and we truly feel that this claim is fraudulent. But that was a HUGE mistake!! To start, Sandie assured me that my truck would be picked up on Friday and delivered on ... [ More ] | | Our representitive, Sandi, was completely honest when she advised Colin of the pickup and delivery dates. She even went as far as tending to Colin from her home, late at night to make sure that everything was on track. We had explained to Colin that his vehicle would be picked up Friday, and delivered no later than Sunday, as per his specific request. The driver had expressed to Sandi that he would be delivering the vehicle on Saturday and Sandi had stressed that as long as the vehicle was delivered by Sunday, that there would be no problems. She expressed the importance of Colin receiving the vehicle no later than Sunday, because he was starting a new job, and haden't worked in a year and a half. We have a signed dispatch ticket from the carrier stating delivery would be no later than Sunday. We did not learn of the delay until after the vehicle had already been delivered, otherwise we would have taken the necessary actions to rectify the situation immediately.
Regarding the claim for the damage on the top luggage rack of the vehicle, Colin was advised that the vehicle was fully insured under the drivers insurance policy. We were informed of the damage 7 days after the vehicle was delivered. We provided him with the necessary information in order for him to take the proper steps to file a claim. We do not avoid any phone calls. Colin was using foul language to express his feelings on the situation, and we felt that we deserved a little bit more respect, as we were trying to work with him to properly resolve the situation.
We have attempted to contact Colin to help rectify the situation, but our calls have not been returned.
** UPDATE 8/27/2009 ** We received a copy of the final inspection report from the driver. Colin signed off on the inspection, stating that there was no damage to the vehicle at the time of delivery. We looked into our records and we did not receive a call regarding the damage until 7 days after delivery. As stated above, we are still awaiting a call back from Colin to resolve the matter.
