[ More ] | | We are a very professional team of people dedicated to our customers and it really hurts when someone is trying to damage our reputation this way when they exaggerate and lie to make us look bad.
This is what we wrote to her on an e-mail on Monday 01/25 at 3:35PM:
“I received the form. Thank you.
I don’t have a driver assigned for this pick-up yet as I just got the form from you. What I do is look for truckers that are around the area and that are going to Sugarland, TX and hire them for the move.
I cannot guarantee you we will pick them up on Wednesday but I will definitely try and I will let you know as soon as possible.”
The original order was given to us on Monday 1/25 at 3:15PM requesting pickup of 2 vehicles on Wednesday. We couldn’t find a driver for Wednesday 01/27 but we had a driver scheduled for pick-up on Friday 01/29, two days after the day she gave us for pick-up. The driver couldn’t get to the cars that day because of bad weather and snow. He was very close to the cars but he could not get into that neighborhood. We asked the customer if the cars could be brought to the driver but she refused and kept pressuring us to get the driver to make the trip up the steep hill into their neighborhood. The driver waited until it was safe for him to pick up the cars. That was on Sunday 01/31. Even if she had paid $2000.00 there is nothing any driver can do about the weather conditions.
The driver didn’t speak Spanish; he did have an accent, but he was not Hispanic; he was from Africa! Hence, this is proof of the viciousness of this customer in her attempt to damage our reputation.
After the pickup, the customer continued to pressure me and the driver by calling incessantly. She insisted that the driver needed to drive faster and get to destination, with no consideration of the driver's safety. She told the driver that he should contact her the moment he got to the city, which he did. He then arrived at destination on Wednesday 2/3 around 6:30 am, not 3:30 am as she claimed.
