So I requested a quote on one of those car shipping websites and one of the first companies I answered the phone calls was from Cisco Garcia with Xpress Transportation LLC, http://www.xprtransport.com/, 1-866-407-0367, 55 Morris Turnpike
Randolph, NJ 07869, who stated his company had their own drivers, and could guarantee the quoted price of $875 from Seaside, CA to Warren CT. I had no urgent timeline and expressed that. So as of last week I couldn’t get Cisco on the phone and managed to get Frank on the phone, who said Cisco had been bitten and hadn’t been to work in (at this time) 3 days. Frank related a driver was enroute and was scheduled to pick the car up the following morning. I asked Frank for the truckers USDOT number, which he related was the same as his business (2594749). I asked Frank if this was a Xpress Transportation LLC driver which he said he was and provided his contact info. I called Jose who said he would be in the next morning to pick up the car….. and that’s the last I would ever hear from Jose.

I called the phone number for Frank, who didn’t answer, the number for Cisco, who didn’t answer, then called the main 800 number with no answer. I sent emails (All within the same day) to try and get ahold of someone to find out what the deal was. Finally I got creative and called Frank from two different phones at the same time (one of which they did not have) which Frank answered. Frank then told me they had not been able to contact Jose either and said his manager “Steve” would call within two hours. So I circled back around to how a driver for Xpress Transportation LLC would just fail to show up, to which Frank stated he was a contracted driver from another company, who had a 3 year contract, and had only 8 months left, but would lose his ability to receive loads from them. I find it interesting that according to their USDOT number, that their company has only been established since and granted legal authority to act as a broker since April 2015 (http://li-public.fmcsa.dot.gov/reports/rwservlet). So either Franks not great with math, or it was a lie.

Needless to say I never could get ahold of Steve, Frank or Cisco, and left all of them voicemails to respond prior to calling the 800 number back requesting them drop my quote.

This was my terrible experience with a less than honest company. Beware
