Texas to Upstate New York transport

My car shipped from Houston, TX to Upstate New York. I picked Ship A Car Direct based off their good reviews online. Overall, the experience was good. The one downside was my primary contact with the company was very busy and not always the most prompt at returning my telephone calls. I really wasn't able to get him to significantly work for me until we were 4 days past my pickup and I started to call him morning and afternoon and leave messages as well as email him. I had to tell him multiple times to offer more money to get someone to pickup the contract. It wasn't until the day before my car was supposed to arrive in New York that he actually did this.

He finally got me a carrier that picked the car up at 9 pm the night before I had requested that it arrive. The car was then dropped off at 11 pm a couple of nights later.

I think that if I had a different customer service contact person the experience would have been much better. I like that they try to use reputable carriers as a broker.
