I had a car shipped from IL to OR. It was an infrequent transport, so it took a long time to find a carrier. After nearly a week of putting a bid out, a carrier finally came through. The driver showed up very late in the night and loaded my car. Nice guy, but bragged about how fast one of the cars went that he was transporting. After that talk, I took a picture of my odometer. On arrival in OR, there were 2 extra miles on the car. I guess the driver test drove my car as well. There was no apparent damage, but he probably drove my car wildly. I probably will pay for a more expensive, private shipper next time.
