My car was picked up in NY as requested and transported to Michigan. The carrier assigned suggested that we just leave the key under the mat to make it easier for pick up. I was a little disturbed by this because the company was very direct in their instructions to complete a Bill of Lading and for us to document (with photos) the condition of the car prior to releasing it to the carrier. We did not take a chance with the carriers suggestion. The car did arrive as scheduled.
