Everything was pretty fine. The driver got here a few hours after he said he would, which put our family in a scramble trying to figure schedule out, and my wife and son had to take the car to the driver. Then the driver, because he was late (said he had a flat tire and had to get it fixed in LA) missed the closing time of a dealership here in San Diego - he had a car he was supposed to deliver to them - so he asked if he could LEAVE THEIR CAR AT MY HOUSE or something like that. I told him no. There was no way I was going to take responsibility for the hauling company's car. To me, this seems absolutely POOR, and makes me trust the hauler a little less - to say the least... So, the shipping company that set things up (Ship a Car Direct) was great, but the hauling company (OSSO) was not...... Also, since the charge for the hauling was $500, but I had to pay Ship a Car Direct a $225 deposit, I'm wondering why next time I wouldn't just call a hauler company direct? I'm guessing the hauler company gives a finder's fee discount, etc... But that seems a bit stiff. (I did find a company that would have shipped it for $650, but I didn't know that much about them.)
