I would definitely recommend this company to anyone wanting to ship a vehicle, however, I do have a few concerns. I had a vehicle that needed to be shipped from Maine to Florida on or about May 14, 2016. My initial contact was with someone named Skip, who was super friendly and assured me that the delivery would not be a problem. The week before, I received a call from the actual truck driver stating that he would be picking the car up tomorrow (May 8). I told the driver that the vehicle was not due to be picked up until the 14th, give or take a day, because we needed the vehicle until then. He was extremely rude and told me that this was the day that he was in town. I explained to him that that was not what I agreed to and paid for, and that he was not to not pick up the vehicle on that day. I then called Ship Your Car and explained the situation to them and that I did not want this rude driver transporting my vehicle. They were very understanding, and agreed that this was not acceptable and that they would find another driver, which they did. The only issue I had, was that I was told they would get back to me the next day with information on the new driver and pickup day, and they didn't call me until two days later. I just think that in situations like this, which I'm sure are few and far between, the company should be calling you on a daily basis to update you on the status, even if they haven't found anyone yet. Needless to say, they found someone named Justin Merton, who called me numerous times to give me an update on where he was and the approximate time that he would be in the area to pick up the vehicle. It was picked up on the 14th as agreed, and delivered two days early on the 17th. The truck was in the exact same condition as it was before he picked it up, no damage whatsoever. He was a great driver, very friendly, professional, and someone who truly cares about the vehicles entrusted to his care. He even called me several hours later to be sure that I had received the vehicle (I was at work when it was delivered), and if there were any problems. Unfortunately, I did not get a call from Ship Your Car to verify that my vehicle had been delivered. So I guess my problem with this company is customer service. As I previously stated, if there's a problem, they need to keep their customers informed on a daily basis, and call them when they receive word from the driver that the vehicle was delivered, to see if there were any issues. I will use them again, but if I encounter any of the same issues the second time around, I will not use them anymore. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt, everyone has a bad day, and there's always a bad contractor within a good company. I'm hoping that they will not be using that original driver that was rude, any further, because for the price you pay to ship a vehicle, the least they could do is be nice. Maybe a better contractor screening process is needed. I'm sure this is not his first and only complaint. Other than that give it a try. Hopefully everything will go smoothly for you. I'm just hoping that the discount I was promised for my next delivery, due to the situation that occurred, will be significant, and that there won't be any more issues the next time around. Happy vehicle shipping!
