I shipped a 2003 Eurovan MV Weekender from Seattle to Chicago because we were moving. Overall I was pleased with the cost, and they were helpful with the questions I had (I've never shipped a car before). The pickup went great, the transit time was pretty good, and the van arrived in good condition.

There was a hiccup on the receiving end that is worth mentioning. The van was supposed to be delivered to our door, but instead we had to meet the driver about half an hour outside of the city. This was not a huge problem for us since we were borrowing a car and had the time to meet him. Not sure where the disconnect was on that.

I would say if you are using freight for the first time you need to expect it to be a little unpredictable. Just be extra communicative with the people involved - you may be talking to the broker, the dispatcher, and/or the driver over the course of the shipment, and it is worth the time to make sure your assumptions line up with each of these people.
