Extraordinarily Frustrating Delivery

Reliable Trucking picked up our car from the Port of Tacoma for shipping to VA as I was moving from Alaska due to military reassignment. I did not contract with them directly, they were hired by M2Reeves.

The driver contacted my wife to make arrangements for the delivery as I was out of town on a military trip. He promised drop-off between 6-7 pm, then called to delay, called to delay again, this time after 11 pm. He never called back to let my wife know that he couldn't make it that night. She stayed up past midnight hoping she would be able to get the pickup taken care of before I returned the following day. He called at 0615 the next morning asking why she wasn't at the Staples parking lot to meet him. There had been no previous mention of using Staples as a pickup point. She was dropped off there within half an hour, but he had already left. When she called him, he was reluctant to turn around and told her he'd be back after he made his next delivery. In the DC metro area, with morning rush hour traffic, that could easily have been another 2 hours. Ultimately, he did turn around and come back, but the whole experience was awful.

Suffice to say, such an unprofessional job of communicating and the clear impression that their bottom line was far more important than any single customer is what led me to recommend M2Reeves stop using this transporter.
