NEVER USE THIS COMPANY OR ANY COMPANY THAT SOUNDS LIKE IT. I found this company by doing an online quote system. The quote was $555, much less than other quotes. Here's the bait, low cost, and reputable company, because they used the company name: Gold Star Transport on their quote. I looked up reviews for Gold Star, very good, & BBB certified. After horrible experience, I found this on a website of Gold Star Transport Reviews.Com: ** PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE COMPANY GOLD-STAR- TRANSPORT ALSO KNOWN AS QUALITY AUTO SHIPPING , ALSO ALPHA/AUTO TRANSPORT IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY*** THEY ARE COUNTING ON YOU THE ,CONSUMER, TO SEE MY COMPANY REVIEWS AND USE THEM. PLEASE CONTACT ME ANYTIME TO DISCUSS*** 919-623-1618. I called on Aug. 31st, I was told my car would be shipped around Sept 2, I gave $195.00 deposit which was represented as being part of the $555.00 fee. Received a confirmation email. Nowhere on the email was the name Gold Star Transport. Didn’t catch than one. Expected pick up date Sept. 10th, not Sept 2nd as quoted by Frank. After many calls, one recording said, DON’T PANIC, MEDICAL EMER., WE’LL GET BACK TO YOU, how reassuring. Car finally got picked up on Sept 24th. During delivery driver calls to say he's been pulled over my police and delivery would be detained. Finally got car on Sept. 30th, 28 days later than quoted. Driver said I owed $750.00, $400 more than quote. He said, the contract states that. Never received any contract. Called Frank@ Auto Transport, says contract not sent because of medical emergency. He's a P.O.S THAT WIL GET HIS SOMEDAY I’m sure. If I were not so naïve, I would have phoned the police at delivery time.
