i worked with jim to have my car shipped from MA to OR. I am in OR and the car was with my mom in MA. jim said no carrier would go to her town because it was out of the way and we made plans for her to bring the car closer to boston on a saturday. sounded good so i paid the deposit. then i hear from the carrier that they were told the car would be available on friday and they could not wait an extra day. i insisted i was told saturday. they called jim and then called me back to say that jim had lied to both of us and if i couldn't get the car to them that day i would have to find another carrier. they told me i had a "lazy broker" and recommended i find a different one. in the end i had to pay them an extra $150 to go out of their way and pick up the car that day with only an hours notice to my mom. when i contacted jim about what happened his response was an email with simply the word "sorry"

Hi Mandi, Sorry to hear the selected carrier wasn't able to be more accommodating. Per your contract it was a Friday-Saturday pick-up depending on traffic and weather loading , and unloading. I am glad to see they did pick-up in the window they agreed too and delivered early In the same condition as when it was released. We are sorry we did not meet or beet your expectations. We try very hard to accommodate everyone, and keep things as simple as possible . Sincerely, Management
