Understand that 1st choice is not a transport company. They are a middle man who arranges transports for an extra fee..

Pros: most customer service inquiries were answered, The vehicles still started when they arrived and the contents were intact.

Cons:... where to start?... first, they claim to have online tracking for your vehicles. They have no such thing. there is no link anywhere on their web site that allows for online tracking. Every time we called to get an update we were told the vehicles are "In the US" and no further details were given.

Their guarantee about moving your vehicles in a timely manner or getting your booking fee refunded is a lie. they would not refund a dime despite being over 2 weeks later than their eta date. It took over 5 weeks for our vehicles to arrive. When they did the struts were blown on both vehicles, I am guessing from how they clamp the vehicles on to the trucks (which I can not directly blame first choice for since they are merely a middle-man not the actual transport company).

Their customer service (Brandi) was quite nice at first, but became defensive with each inquiry after we dropped off the vehicles.

Its a pain, but if you are thinking of having a vehicle shipped, find a direct shipper to avoid the middle man fee, also I would strongly recommend just driving (or hiring someone else to drive) your vehicle. It may put more miles on your car but it is well worth the damage, delays, expense and frustration of having it transported.

First, this is the first time we are hearing about ANY damage, there were zero miles put on these cars. These cars were shipping from Alaska to Florida, and we quoted total of four weeks for shipping. Unfortuntely when the vehciles were shipping down from Alaska, there was bad weather and the boat was delayed, there is nothing we can do about that. As for our refund policy, we state, if your vehicle is NOT PICKED UP in a timely manner we waive your scheduling fees, we cannot do anything about delayed due to weather.
