This was my first time shipping a car, and I was nervous, but Eric did an excellent job of answering my questions and keeping me in the loop about the process. I did have to follow up a few times when my first desired pick-up date came and went, but always received a prompt response.

The pickup date was "late" as in the shipper did not get selected by ShipDirect until a couple of days after my initial "desired pickup date" - you definitely need to give yourself a good-sized window for pick-up. As a note, this was also done around the July 4 holiday, so I was made aware by Eric that this can complicate the process as fewer shippers are available or working during holidays (makes sense).

In full disclosure, yes, I am getting a small monetary incentive for completing this review, but not for its positive or negative evaluation. It was just enough to spur me to take the time to complete this review. I would highly recommend using ShipDirect - they cost less than the competitors, and the shipper (Straight Shooter LLC) that was selected was excellent, personable and took great care of my car. ShipDirect did a nice job of getting me linked in with a good carrier.
