After shopping around it became clear that vehicle transport companies tend to be rather shady and resort underhanded tactics to prevent customers from shopping around. Amerifreight did lowball their initial quote by almost $400, but that seems to be the norm for the industry and everything else was quite transparent. Rep Harry Davis was very helpful with me and was immediately open about the fact that the final price was likely to be significantly higher than the initial quote. 10148849
